My name is Shahn and I am the owner and creater here at Soo Good Soapery. The decision and vision to create a business that prides itself in providing its customers with exceptional quality, simple ingredient products that are good for you started on my first trip to Nelson Bay NSW with my mumma dearest (pictured above), I absolutely fell in love with an artisan soap created with E.T (Extra Terrestrial) Embeds that was being sold at the market. Mum brought me a bar.

After using the soap I immediately noticed how superior Artisan Soap was compared to the mass produced soap available at the supermarkets.

 

So in 2017, with a heap of fear but a lot of eagerness I attended my first Artisan Soap making class with Remington & Emmett in Sydney and wow, I was immediately hooked.

3 long years passed whilst I was attending every artisan soap making class I could find, spending my spare time reading everything I could possibly read on soaping and soaping batch after batch and although I had plenty of failures I also had a new found fondness of the science involved with creating. In 2020 I sold my first soap bar and received amazing feedback and it was that moment where Soo Good Soapery was born.

 

Today, my passion for soap making has continued to grow. I now offer bottled liquid soaps and smooth luxury whipped soaps that are full of goodness with NO added nasty's. Sourcing at least 90% of my ingredients by home grown small Australian family run businesses. 

But it doesnt stop there. I have developed an exciting range of body lotions, lip balms, scrubs. bath & shower products, bath bombs, relaxants & massage oils, home fragrance & home cleaning and facial & body creams!

My mission is to keep on creating!
